Potentially habitable Exoplanets | Information about Exoplanets | Habitable Exoplanets Part-2

LHS 1140b:

It is an Exoplanet located at a distance of 40 light years away from the Earth in the constellation of Cetus. It is orbiting around the LHS 1140, is a red dwarf star. It is detected by using the Transit Photometry method on 20 April, 2017. It has an orbital period about 24.7 Earth days. It is 40% larger than the Earth's size and 7 times the Earth’s mass. It may have temperatures about -8°C to 50°C and this allows the chances of atmosphere and life to exist. This temperature is also suitable for humans to live. It has chances to have liquid water on the surface.

Wolf 1061c:

It is an Exoplanet located at a distance of 13.9 light years away from the Earth in the constellation of Ophiuchus. It is the 2nd planet orbiting around the Wolf 1061 (red dwarf) star in habitable zone. It is the 5th closest potentially habitable Exoplanet to the Earth, also called as Super Earth. It is detected by using the Radial Velocity method by ESO on 17 December, 2015. It has an orbital period about 17.9 Earth days. It is 1.4 times the Earth's size and 4.3 times the Earth’s mass. It may have temperatures about -50°C to 30°C, so water may exists in the form of ice or liquid. This temperature also allows the chances of atmosphere and life to exist.

Kepler 442b:

It is an Exoplanet located at a distance of 1206 light years away from the Earth in the constellation of Lyra. It is estimated that, it was formed 2.9 billion years ago. It is the orbiting around the Kepler 442 star in habitable zone. It is detected by Kepler space telescope (uses Transit Photometry to detect Exoplanets) on 6 January, 2015. It may have oceans and rocky surface. It has an orbital period about 113 Earth days. It is 1.34 times the Earth's size and 2.34 times the Earth’s mass. It may have temperatures about -40°C to 200°C, so it has 60% chances of life to exist.

Kepler 62f:

It is an Exoplanet located at a distance of 990 light years away from the Earth in the constellation of Lyra. It is the orbiting around the Kepler 62 star in habitable zone. It is detected by Kepler space telescope (uses Transit Photometry to detect Exoplanets) on 18 April, 2013.  It has an orbital period about 267 Earth days. It is 1.41 times the Earth's size and 2.4 times the Earth’s mass. It may have temperatures about -60°C to 30°C, so water may exists in the form of ice or liquid. This temperature also allows the higher chances of atmosphere and life to exist.

Kepler 452b:

It is an Exoplanet located at a distance of 1400 light years away from the Earth in the constellation of Cygnus. It is the orbiting around the Kepler 452 star in habitable zone It is detected by Kepler space telescope (uses Transit Photometry to detect Exoplanets) on 23 July, 2015. It may have oceans and rocky surface. It has an orbital period about 385 Earth days. It is 1.5 times the Earth's size and 5 times the Earth’s mass. It may have temperatures about -10°C to 50°C, so this temperature also allows the higher chances of atmosphere and life to exist. Kepler 452b has similar properties like that of Earth, so it is also called as Earth 2.0 or Earth Cousin
